13 Signs?…The Zodiac Shift

What happened? For thousands of years, there have been 12 astrological signs for the 12 periods of the year. However, astrologists have been noting a change. They have been monitoring the Earth’s relation to the sun which seems to have been shifting. This, therefore, has led to a bump in the Zodiac. There has been a new sign added…Ophiuchus. This change has definitely been the buzz around social media. People are posting, tweeting, and blogging rapidly about this occurrence. Some are excited about the new change, yet others are not too happy. Everyone has grown up with one zodiac sign since birth, and for that to suddenly change is a shock to most!

The scientific explanation for this is due to the moon’s gravitational pull on the Earth, the Earth’s tilt on its axis is now pointing in a different direction. There is also a different star constellation, Ophiuchus, which astrological horoscopes have been ignoring. But, enough of this scientific jargon…what does this mean for my horoscope? Will there be a shift in people’s personalities? Astrologists believe this may be the case due to the Sun, Earth, and Star alignment. People who have been laid back may now be high strung. People who are usually organized may be very messy. Everything you’ve thought you’ve known about your personality and way of life may be wrong…according to your horoscope that is. Cancer: July 20 – Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10 – Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16 – Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30 – Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23 – Nov. 29
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29 – Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17 – Jan. 20
