Danielle Morfi Behind the Scenes: New Account Manager at Response
Response would like to welcome our new Account Manager, Danielle Morfi. Starting here as of Monday, March 21st, she has already been hard at work putting her strong skills to use! Let’s find out more about Danielle behind the scenes…
Born in Queens, NY, Danielle studied journalism at Boston University. After a stint as a pre-school teacher, she joined a small start-up ad agency as the Account Coordinator and worked her way up to Account Executive for clients such as Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Cynosure, Bugaboo Creek and OneBeacon Insurance. Two and a half years ago, she joined Partners+simons as the Brand Manager for Agilent Technologies. There, she developed global marketing programs, executed a Customer Relationship Management program, and played a pivotal role in developing Agilent’s social media strategy.
When I asked what drew her away from teaching and writing, and transitioning into marketing, she replied that she loves working with people. This is easy to tell from her fun, bubbly personality.
Now here’s the fun stuff. As for her hobbies, Danielle will be running around New Haven with her bow & arrow…well, not exactly. Danielle recently picked up Archery with her friends and discovered how much fun it is. Though an obscure sport it may be, it is definitely something new to learn. She used to play on a brutal Floor Hockey Team, where injuries aside, won the season championship! She also plays handball from time to time, which I found out is basically Racquetball, but played with your hands. In terms of more professional sports, she doesn’t have too much of a preference for teams, but she did mention that she is a Mets fan (even though she’s been to more Red Sox games, having lived in Boston for so long). Danielle likes being in the fun laid-back atmosphere, enjoying the game, with a couple of brews. Any favorite foods to go along with those brews? She loves all food, especially eggs and cheese, which made sense when I asked her where she wants to travel…Greece, to eat all the Feta cheese! Danielle is quite the traveler, visiting Dublin, Amsterdam, London, and other areas of Europe. Within the states, specifically Connecticut, Danielle says she still needs to explore! So maybe her next vacation is right here in exciting New Haven. She also shared that for the last 3 years she has been doing the Avon 2 Day Breast Cancer walk and her goal is to do it in every city they host one. So, the Journalist, Met fan, Euro-traveling, cheese eating, Archery champion, Account Manager from Queens, definitely has a lot to offer Response.
