Vine Updates Camera

Vine updated its camera to allow users to capture videos in new ways. Along with front and rear facing cameras, you can now import existing videos from your phone library.  On the bottom left corner of your capture screen you will see the option to import a video. You have the option to select one video or mix together several videos, including newly supported slow-motion videos. Vine has also made editing videos faster by tapping the scissors from the preview screen, opening up new tools such as a duplicate button and mute button. Before publishing your Vine, you can now preview your last clip from the capture screen, if you are unsatisfied with the clip, there is a new undo feature allowing you to go back. Looking for new ways to shoot videos?  Tap the wrench from the capture screen and access an array of tools such as grid, focus lock, ghost mode, and torch. Have fun!  Source

SlideShare Gives All Users Access To Premium Features

Starting September SlideShare will be rolling out premium features to all users.  Each month SlideShare users will see a new feature. Here’s what to keep an eye out for: Analytics will help provide users insight on who’s checking out your presentations, where they found it, and where they are located in the world, along with which sites are giving you added boost, and engagement measurements.  Customization allows brands to create a distinct identity by customizing their profile background image and organize content on your profile to show your favorite SlideShares, curating the SlideSahres that are most important to your audience.  Lastly, Private uploads allow you to share your SlideShares with a select group of users such as a client presentation with coworkers or at a meeting  until you are ready to publish publicly.
