Facebook announces auto-play premium video ads for mobile
In December Facebook started testing Premium Video Ads for advertisers to drive branding objects on Facebook. This week, these ads were introduced on Facebook to a select group of advertisers. Premium Video Ads were designed for advertisers to reach a larger audience with high-quality sight, sound, and motion. The video ads are 15-second videos that will start playing without sound as it appears on your screen in the news feed. These ads are bought and measured similar to TV ad buying. They are bought based on Targeted Gross Rating Points in order to reach a specific audience in a short amount of time. Delivery is measured by Nielsen Online Campaign Ratings. Advertisers pay based on what Nielson OCR measures. Premium Video Ads give brands another way to engage people on Facebook with video experience. Source

Facebook will be rolling out a streamlined look for pages on desktop, allowing people to find information they want easier, and to help page admins find tools they use most. The right-side column of your timeline now shows all your page posts and the left-side column will show information about your business, including, hours of operation, phone number, website address, photos and videos. Accessing insights on your page has also become easier with new navigation on the top of the page and “This Week” section that you can click on for more details. Lastly, with the new design comes “Pages to Watch” which allows admins to create a list of competitive pages to compare performance. Source
